**hackathon.lu 2026** is a small, informal, and ad hoc hackathon organised during the hack.lu conference. The idea is simple: bring together people passionate about open-source cybersecurity, create opportunities to meet, exchange ideas, join forces, and build something together.

There are no strict rules, no competition, and no pressure to deliver a finished product. It’s all about experimenting, sharing knowledge, being creative, and turning spontaneous ideas into collaborative projects.

Whether you are a developer, security researcher, hacker, or simply curious about open-source cybersecurity, you are welcome to join, contribute, or start something new.

**Everything developed during the hackathon is open source** , and projects, ideas, and outcomes are documented and shared on [OSSBase Discourse](https://discourse.ossbase.org/c/hackathon-lu/5).

**Come with an idea, a problem to solve, or just your curiosity. Let’s hack, collaborate, and have fun!**

If you don’t know on which project to contribute to, CIRCL has a lot open-source projects:

> **[Open Source Projects](https://www.circl.lu/projects/)**
>
> Open source cybersecurity platforms, libraries, and operational tools maintained by CIRCL.

Just an idea.
