CPE Guesser is now integrated into Mercator
We are happy to announce that CPE Guesser is now integrated into Mercator. A great example of what can be achieved when passionate people get together at Hackathon. Users can now search and assign CPE identifiers to their assets directly from the cartography forms, without manually browsing the NVD dictionary. Filling in CPE data is now faster, easier, and less error-prone.
This integration complements the already existing connection with Vulnerability Lookup. Together, they form a seamless pipeline: identify your components with CPE Guesser, then instantly surface known vulnerabilities affecting them — all from within Mercator.
Mercator keeps improving thanks to its community. This is another step towards making open-source information system cartography a first-class tool for security teams. Stay tuned!
